【Abstract】Vitiligo is a common skin depigmentation disease. The molecular mechanism of melanocyte damage in skin lesions has not yet been clear. The pathogenesis of the disease is complicated, involving hypotheses such as heredity, immunity, oxidative stress, melanocyte self-destruction, and psycho-neural. At present, the most respected view is that vitiligo is a complex disease with a multi-gene inheritance model. The pathogenesis is not yet fully understood, and further research is needed.
